“I work at the Advocacy Center because as the daughter of an immigrant, I witnessed firsthand how limited access to resources makes it difficult for families to obtain healthcare and to advocate for themselves. At the Advocacy Center, I have the opportunity to support and empower communities that reflect my own upbringing by helping them understand their rights and how to access critical benefits while being heard and respected.“
