Building a Pro Bono Department

Casey Burke runs the Pro Bono department at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, identifying areas of need that require support from attorneys in the private bar, and then recruiting and training those attorneys. Casey will discuss her work creating and supporting our robust pro bono department, and the important role that pro bono attorneys play in filling the justice gap.

Advocacy Center, Brown Bag Lunch Series

From June 12th through August 8th, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy will be hosting virtual Brown Bag Lunches. You will be able to participate in the presentations via Zoom. The events will allow you to gain a broad understanding of legal aid/public interest work and learn about the work that the attorneys at the Advocacy Center are doing day in and day out.
