Expunctions, Drivers License Restoration, and Property Tax

Janon Harris is the Managing Attorney for the Community Empowerment Project at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. She specializes in criminal record expunction driver’s license restoration, and property tax relief. Janon will discuss how her work empowers communities by breaking down barriers to stable employment and housing.
Courtney Viebrock is a Staff Attorney for the Community Empowerment Project. She will discuss her recent transition to Charlotte Center Legal Advocacy after five years at the Charlotte District Attorney’s Office, as well as her experience at a civil litigation firm.

Advocacy Center, Brown Bag Lunch Series
From June 12th through August 8th, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy will be hosting virtual Brown Bag Lunches. You will be able to participate in the presentations via Zoom. The events will allow you to gain a broad understanding of legal aid/public interest work and learn about the work that the attorneys at the Advocacy Center are doing day in and day out.
