Get to Know… Stephanie Klitsch

“I work at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy because it allows me to pursue my lifelong commitment to improving outcomes for youth and families impacted by systemic injustice. Every day, I have the privilege of using my legal expertise to challenge inequities, build coalitions, and advocate for sustainable change in the child welfare and education systems. It’s meaningful to be part of a team that shares my belief in the inherent worth and dignity of every person, and in a more just and equitable future for all.

  • The Education Law Program was formerly a part of Council for Children’s Rights, where Stephanie worked from 2012 – 2025, coming to the Advocacy Center in September 2025.
