Experience
- Evelyn works on the advancement team to help raise money and create meaningful connections to support the organization’s mission. Her efforts are focused on fostering strong relationships with donors to increase awareness and support for the center’s vital work of providing legal representation to build more just communities.
- Before joining the Advocacy Center in March 2025, Evelyn worked as a Development Coordinator at Youth Villages, where she managed fundraising campaigns such as Backpack Heroes and Holiday Heroes that provided school supplies and holiday gifts for youth and families in need across North Carolina. She has also served as Arts Program Manager at Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose, where she developed and directed the museum’s first artist-in-residence program, as well as their hands-on art programs and performing arts programs, engaging more than 78,000 visitors. At Stanford University’s Institute for Diversity in the Arts, Evelyn supported students, events, and programs focused on the intersection of arts and social justice.
