As Partners in Justice, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy and Legal Aid of North Carolina-Charlotte help people facing issues of safety, housing and financial insecurity, and family stability.
1 in 3 Mecklenburg County residents is low-income.
71% of these residents experienced at least one civil legal problem last year.
Only 14% received legal help for their civil legal problem.
Proceeds from this event help more Charlotteans access legal solutions to barriers in employment, education, safety, housing, and other fundamental needs of life.
