Get to Know… Ally Lebron

“I work at the Advocacy Center because I am committed to connecting funders to causes
that advance social justice and empower local communities.

Experience

  • Ally supports the advancement team with writing grants and raising funds and awareness for the Advocacy Center’s programs that help vulnerable populations advocate for themselves.
  • Prior to joining the Advocacy Center in November 2024, Ally spent four years working in development and operations for a granting foundation that supports human empowerment and environmental sustainability projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
  • In a volunteer capacity, Ally has served on the board of several nonprofit organizations, where she helped with organizational capacity-building and fundraising strategies, including as Board Treasurer.
