Get to Know… Andrew Deschler

“I started serving the public in law school and have modeled my career to serve my state and the people who live here. I wanted to join the Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy because it provides me the best opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills to helping the community I live in.

Experience

  • Andrew helps to lead the Community Empowerment Project, promoting focused economic development, stable housing, and entrepreneurship in targeted communities.
  • Before joining the Advocacy Center in February 2024, Andrew was the Assistant Director of the Campbell Law Pro Bono Council in law school, an Assistant District Attorney in Rowan County for four years and a private criminal defense attorney for two years.
