Get to Know… Yolanda Arratia Pedraza

“I work at the Advocacy Center because I believe strongly in social justice. I want to communicate and advocate for those who do not always have the loudest voices, allowing them to be heard and understood, with the ultimate goal of making positive change in our community.

Experience

  • Yolanda assists the office/operations manager with scheduling maintenance of facilities, office equipment, telephone, mail, supply inventory, and ordering. She performs general office tasks including copying, scanning, entry, and direct mailing, assists with closed file maintenance, and helps out at the front desk.
  • Before joining the Advocacy Center in May 2022, Yolanda worked with children on language skills and creative activities like art and music, organizing activities designed to help children learn about their world.
