Litigation for Low-Wage Workers

Meghan Lucas is an Equal Justice Works Fellow sponsored by American Tire Distributors. She represents low-wage workers in wage theft litigation and advocates for improved labor standards enforcement in North Carolina. Meghan will be discussing the process of applying for a fellowship as well as providing details about the work she does at the Advocacy Center with low wage workers.

Advocacy Center, Brown Bag Lunch Series

From June 12th through August 8th, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy will be hosting virtual Brown Bag Lunches. You will be able to participate in the presentations via Zoom. The events will allow you to gain a broad understanding of legal aid/public interest work and learn about the work that the attorneys at the Advocacy Center are doing day in and day out.
