Paola Rodriguez

Bilingual Attorney and Health Insurance Navigator

Paola Rodriguez is a Bilingual Attorney and Health Insurance Navigator in the Family Support and Health Care Program at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. In her role, Paola assists clients that have Medicaid issues, food stamps issues, and/or problems acquiring benefits with social security income and disability.

Prior to joining the Advocacy Center in November 2023, Paola was a housing attorney for CAMBA and Queens Legal Services of New York City, defending tenants in eviction summary proceedings and doing affirmative actions in Supreme and Housing Court. In service to her community, she would spend some of her time volunteering for Legacy Center NYC, the local food pantry, and NYC Racetrack Chaplaincy. Paola has been a practicing attorney since residing in her home country. Originally from Lima, Perú, she came to the United States for school and acquired a Master’s Degree in International Law and Justice from Fordham University. In her leisure time, Paola enjoys spending time with her family, going dancing, and volunteering at her church or other non-profit organizations’ events.

Paola works at the Advocacy Center because she believes in the organization’s mission. “I believe that justice should be attainable to all, and I thrive in helping and empowering others to get the resources they need to excel in life.”
