Administrative Support Specialist

Shaylea Rice is the Administrative Support Specialist for the Family Support and Health Care Program at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. She supports the program staff and their clients.

Before joining CCLA in October of 2023, Shaylea was a Financial Crimes Specialist where she investigated and conducted reports on individual and business accounts which were flagged for suspicious behavior. She graduated in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice, along with a Legal Studies minor.

Shaylea is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, a prestigious organization that stands on the principles of scholarship and service, and she has volunteered for toiletry and food drives. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, shopping and working out.
