Director of Communications

Katie O’Connor is the Chief Marketing Officer at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. She is responsible for creating and implementing the strategic marketing and communications strategy for the Advocacy Center.

Before joining the Advocacy Center in August of 2021, Katie served as the Communications and Marketing Manager for Marion Polk Food Share in Salem, Oregon. Katie graduated from the University of Notre Dame, with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and three active children, being in the beautiful outdoors camping or hiking, attempting to garden, and reading a good book.

Katie works for Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy because she is passionate about serving the community and advocating for real change. “I believe our neighbors deserve access to the basic needs of safety, security, and stability, but that all too often that access is limited or denied. By sharing client stories and their experiences with our complex civil legal system, I have the opportunity to amplify their voices.”
