Staff Accountant

Labeebah Thompson serves as Staff Accountant in the Finance department at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. In her role, Labeebah provides administrative support to our Chief Financial Officer. 

Prior to joining the Advocacy Center in September 2023, Lebeebah worked as a Director of Finance for a non-profit and was responsible for fiscal leadership, general accounting, budget management, forecasting, grant management and compliance, A133 audits, internal control management, and HR management. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Shorter University and Master’s in Business Administration from Ashford University. In her leisure time, Lebeebah enjoys volunteering for local community organizations, exercising, and traveling. 

Labeebah serves at the Advocacy Center because she appreciates and supports the legal services, we provide to community members who typically wouldn’t have access. “I am here to support the fiscal leadership and growth of impact in Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy.”
