Food Security

Emily Johnston serves as a Glickman Legal Fellow in Family Support and Health Care at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. In her role, Emily serves public benefits clients, with an emphasis on food security, the LGBTQ+ community, and those living with HIV. Emily will discuss her experience applying for her fellowship, as well as her work at the Advocacy Center.

Advocacy Center, Brown Bag Lunch Series
From June 12th through August 8th, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy will be hosting virtual Brown Bag Lunches. You will be able to participate in the presentations via Zoom. The events will allow you to gain a broad understanding of legal aid/public interest work and learn about the work that the attorneys at the Advocacy Center are doing day in and day out.
