Yeama Arrington

Attorney

Yeama Arrington is an attorney at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy working in the Family Support and Health Care Program.

Before joining Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, Arrington worked as an attorney with Legal Aid of North Carolina in the housing unit. While working there, she protected tenants from illegal evictions and poor living conditions. Arrington now advises clients on public and elder care benefits.

Arrington earned her J.D. from Charlotte School of Law and her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Berkeley College. During law school, Arrington was a juvenile advocate volunteer and a competing member on the Black Law Student Association Trial Team.

Arrington is dedicated to servicing the community and passionate about providing stability to those most in need. Arrington works for Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy because of its commitment to providing access to health care for children, immigrants, and the elderly.
