Ombudsman

Sabrina White serves as Medicaid Ombudsman in the Family Support and Healthcare at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. In her role, Sabrina assists Medicaid beneficiaries and coverage and service and coverage related issues.

Prior to joining the Advocacy Center in January 2023, Sabrina worked for a large nonprofit healthcare system as a Financial Counseling Supervisor. Leading the team in supporting patients with obtaining insurance coverage, including Medicaid and Medicare, to cover the cost for their medical. She has a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Winthrop University.

Sabrina works at the Advocacy Center because of her strong interest and passion for helping individuals improve their health and overall, well-being. “I believe by providing this support and guidance individuals will be better equipped to achieve and maintain their best possible physical and financial health status.”
