Outreach Specialist

Ro’shaun McClendon is the Community Outreach Specialist at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. He is responsible for connecting the organization with the surrounding communities and other non-profit organizations, active in the area.

Prior to joining the Advocacy Center in August 2022, Ro’shaun served as a Case Manager for The Hope Youth Network in Gastonia, North Carolina. Ro’shaun graduated from Gaston College, with an Associate of Arts degree. He is currently on hiatus from his undergraduate studies to travel and explore his passion for community work. In his leisure time, Ro’shaun enjoys various creative activities; such as making clothes, photography, and graphic design.  

Ro’shaun works for the Advocacy Center because he is committed to serving low-income families in the community. “I work for Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy because of my investment in bettering my community and the objective of assuring equal representation of all citizens (both, documented and undocumented) under the law.”
