Health Insurance Navigator and Paralegal-Advocate, Family Support and Health Care Program

Natalie Marles is a health insurance navigator and paralegal-advocate for the Family Support and Health Care Program at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy.

Marles is originally from Bogotá, Colombia and came to the U.S. in 2004 after graduating from nursing school. In 2017, she co-founded El Puente Hispano, a non- profit organization to further help Hispanics in Cabarrus County. Marles also serves as a vice-Chair of Enlace-CLT a coalition of organizations serving the Latinx community. In 2016, she received her paralegal certification from Charlotte School of Law and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from ECPI University. Before joining Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, Marles served as an intern at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse, working with the Family Court Administration. She has also interned with the Union County Sheriff’s Office and served as a volunteer with Guardian Ad Litem for two years. Outside of work, Marles enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, a Jack Russell named Sparky, reading and watching movies.
