Natalie Hetrick

Ombudsman

Natalie Hetrick serves as Medicaid Ombudsman in the Family Support and Health Care Program at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. She assists people from low-income backgrounds and households who are eligible for Medicaid, have questions concerning Medicaid enrollment, or are experiencing issues involving their health insurance.

Prior to joining the Advocacy Center in February 2023, Natalie had experience serving the public. She served as a Senior Veterans Service Representative for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Physical Therapist Assistant in the Greater Charlotte Area, and Injury Prevention with the State of North Carolina. Along with this impressive record, Natalie has a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University, a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and an Associate of Applied Science from Central Piedmont Community College. Natalie listens to audiobooks and podcasts while knitting and gardening in her leisure time.
