Julieanne Taylor

Julieanne Taylor is an attorney and Public Benefits Legal Unit Manager at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy working in Family Support and Health Care. 

Before joining Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, Taylor served on the staff of the Hon. Judge Frank Whitney, Federal District Court for the Western District of North Carolina. Since joining Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, Taylor has advised clients on affordable healthcare options and advocated on their behalf in Medicaid and Social Security hearings. Taylor has presented at the National Health Law Program Conference in Washington, D.C., has provided updates on the state of access to care in North Carolina at the annual MedLink of Mecklenburg Forum, and served on the panel at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Health Disparities Conference. Taylor currently serves as Secretary of MedLink of Mecklenburg and coordinates the nationwide Federally Facilitated Marketplace Appeals Group listserv and quarterly calls in addition to the statewide Navigator Help Group listserv.  

Taylor earned her undergraduate degree in political science from Texas Christian University before attending law school in North Carolina. Taylor has been a licensed attorney in North Carolina since 2014. 

In her spare time, Taylor enjoys adventuring with her terrier, Toni, and kayaking on the Catawba.
