Paralegal-Advocate, Administrative Assistant
Devin MacGoy is a paralegal and administrative assistant at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy working in the Family Support and Health Care Program.
Before joining Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, MacGoy worked as a Legislative Assistant for Virginia State Delegate Kathleen Murphy in McLean, VA, and as a Project Assistant at the National Democratic Institute in Washington, DC. He works to connect individuals with Medicaid and Affordable Care Act coverage as a Health Insurance Navigator, outreach assistant, and paralegal.
MacGoy earned his Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. He is passionate about health policy and health equity, especially in immigrant communities. His goal is to work in public policy to advance the cause of justice and equal opportunities for all.
