Nan Allison

Paralegal-Advocate, Family Support and Health Care Program

Nan Allison is a paralegal-advocate for the Family Support and Health Care program at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy.

Allison received her B.A. degree in history from the University of Virginia. Her past work as a paralegal includes five years at Moore and Van Allen’s Charlotte office and three years at Hunton and Williams (now Hunton Andrews Kurth) in Richmond, Va. 

She joined Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy in 2012. Nan assists clients with public benefit related issues, including cases with Social Security, the Department of Social Services, and appeals related to Medicaid eligibility, Medicaid service authorizations, and Medicaid waiver services. 

Nan is currently a board member of Wing Haven in Charlotte.
