Kirsten Morris

Chief People Officer

Kirsten Morris serves as Chief People Officer in the Human Resources department at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy. In her role, Kirsten is responsible for bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances and implementing Human Resource strategies.

Prior to joining the Advocacy Center in December 2022, Kirsten served as the Vice President of Human Resources and Administration for Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UNC-Chapel Hill. Kirsten has more than 20 years of experience working with non-profit organizations, individuals, and corporations. She began her relationship with the Advocacy Center as a Senior Consultant providing HR support to the organization. In her leisure time, Kirsten enjoys spending time with family, reading biographies, and walking her very rambunctious dog, Norman.

Kirsten works at the Advocacy Center because she wants to be involved in the fight for the rights of those in our community, with the most need. “The passion and dedication the [Advocacy Center] staff have for changing the lives of others inspires me in my role as I serve and advocate for them.”
