What is Charlotte Triage?
Charlotte Triage is a state and nationally recognized volunteer recruitment program that collaborates with Charlotte Center for Legal advocacy and Legal Aid of North Carolina-Charlotte to bring the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community together and address some of the most critical legal problems impacting economic mobility in the county.
Criminal Record Expunctions in North Carolina: Eligibility and Process
An expunction is the destruction of a criminal record by court order. As a volunteer with our criminal record expunction project, you will learn how to read criminal records, advise on expungable offense types, draft certificates of relief, and file for criminal record expunctions.

People with criminal records often face barriers to gainful employment and stable housing. Because of these barriers, expunction is a vital component to criminal justice reform and advancement of racial equity and social mobility in North Carolina.
