The affordable housing and homelessness crises continue in Charlotte, and now more than ever pro bono legal responders are needed to assist clients with urgent housing needs in court.
Join the Charlotte Triage Eviction Project and Legal Aid of North Carolina (LANC) for a CLE training program that will provide an overview of the legal remedies offered to pro bono clients subjected to unfair housing practices, and the two main ways pro bono attorneys can help. Pro bono attorneys are desperately needed to represent clients facing eviction in the following two ways:
