Arty Pineda

Paralegal-Advocate, Fingerprint Specialist

Arty Pineda is a Bilingual Paralegal Advocate / Fingerprint Specialist for the Family Support and Health Program.

Arty joined the Advocacy Center in December of 2021. Prior to joining, Arty had worked as a community and arts reporter in New Haven for the Arts Paper. Most recently, they worked as a labor and business development reporter at Carolina Public Press as a corps member through Report for America. They graduated with a Bachelors in English with a concentration in Journalism from Yale University in 2019. In their free time, Arty is an avid gardener, propagating five plants at any given point. Pineda works for Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy because: “I am determined to ensure that immigrant rights are protected and justice is carried out for the most marginalized.”
