Abigail Duemler

Paralegal-Advocate, Carolinas Medical Legal Partnership

Abigail Duemler is a Health Insurance Navigator and Paralegal Advocate at Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy working in the Family Support and Healthcare Unit.

Before joining Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, Duemler worked as a Project Coordinator providing public health education in Birmingham, Alabama. She now collaborates with the Charlotte Community Health Clinic and other community partners to ensure that patients and clients understand and can access public benefits for which they are eligible. 

Duemler earned her Bachelor of Arts in Romance Languages and her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Washington and Lee University and her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from UAB.

Duemler believes we are called to serve and help others in all areas of life, and loves working at the Advocacy Center because it is a place that allows her to live out that desire and to help clients every day!
